| Extreme Ride – Hummer’s New Tactical Mountain Bike |

Because of General Motors’ media blitz surrounding the Hummer, it is increasingly difficult to get away from the H1 or the incredibly sleek H2. Now, GM is focused on accessorizing these evolutionary, all-terrain vehicles with a mountain bike that is worthy of carrying the Hummer name. Designed by Montague Corporation, the Hummer Tactical Mountain Bike shares a rugged similarity with its big brother: the H2. Since Montague supplies the US military with its mountain bikes, the Hummer Bike will certainly live up to its name. The
Hummer Tactical Mountain Bike will make biking enthusiasts drool with
delight. Developed for extreme riding, this bike is capable of traversing
almost any terrain at high speeds carrying a 250-pound marine with 75
pounds of combat gear over 5-foot drops. In addition, its silent operation
and zero fuel requirements will get a rider practically to any destination
of their choosing. This tactical bike even has the ability to fold up to fit into the back of an H2. After turning a quick-release lever, the bike compacts in less than 30 seconds into a 3 by 3 by 1-foot pack for easy portability and storage. In fact, the patented folding system was originally developed to allow paratroopers an easy exit from military aircraft. Upon landing, paratroopers unfolded the bike that gave off no thermal or acoustic radar signature, allowing them to traverse terrain at higher speeds while remaining undetected. Besides battlefield reporting, the bike also served as backup transportation to light armored vehicles. What
better way to show your patriotism than with riding a bike that has
seen action in the most recent Middle East conflicts? The Hummer Tactical
Mountain Bike is available through Hummer dealerships for a suggested
retail price of $795. In the end, this bike is the perfect alternative
to the pricey H1 or H2. After all, it says, “Hummer.” |
